Statement of Intent – Patients & Information

The contractual requirements from 1 April 2023 for all NHS General practices to offer and promote;

• Patient on-line access to appointments – This is via Ask My GP
• Patient on-line access to prescriptions – Via TPP online or the NHS app
• Patient on-line access to certain parts of their medical record – Via TPP online or the NHS app

The practice must also;

• Transfer relevant information to a patient’s Summary Care Record (SCR)
• Transfer a patient’s record electronically between practices when patients register or deregister (GP2GP)

To gain access to these services please ask one of our reception team for more details.

• On-line access to repeat prescriptions
• Relevant information is transferred to a patients Summary Care Record (SCR)
• Patient’s records are electronically between practices when patients register or deregister (GP2GP)
• On-line access to the summary care record

• On-line access to all detailed information (held in coded form) from the patient record – upon request
• Full access to records will not at present be available by this means – upon request
