Statement of Intent – Patients & Information

The contractual requirements  for all NHS General practices to offer and promote;

• Patient on-line access to appointments – This is via Ask My GP
• Patient on-line access to prescriptions – Via TPP online or the NHS app
• Patient on-line access to certain parts of their medical record – Via TPP online or the NHS app

The practice must also;

• Transfer relevant information to a patient’s Summary Care Record (SCR)
• Transfer a patient’s record electronically between practices when patients register or deregister (GP2GP)

• On-line access to repeat prescriptions
• Relevant information is transferred to a patients Summary Care Record (SCR)

• On-line access to the medical record

• On-line access to all medical information  from the patient record – when requested or if appropriate upon registration.
