Your pharmacist will be able to support conditions without you having to visit your GP Practice!!

If you are suffering from any of the below conditions you can access support directly at your pharmacy:

INFECTED INSECT BITES        1 year +
IMPETIGO                                     1 year +
ACUTE OTITIS MEDIA              1 – 17 years (inflammation of the middle ear)
SORE THROAT                            5 years +
SINUSITIS                                     12 years +
UNCOMPLICATED UTI’s          16 – 64 years
SHINGLES                                     18 years +

It is not news that the pressure on primary care has increased dramatically over the last few years. Accessing Pharmacy First services will not only enable to you to get fast healthcare support but it will also enable additional access in practice for the conditions which they do not cover.
As of Wednesday 31.01.2024 patients can walk directly into a pharmacy for help.  This will increase the capacity to support more patients on the day.
